having a fundraiser can be a fun way of raising money for just about anything. schools have been using fundraising for many years. people use them as a way to raise money for a sick person in their community or to get their child's baseball team new uniforms or to a tournament miles away. there is always a purpose. my family uses fundraising for putting together family reunions. we do it all year round and in many ways. our purpose for fundraising is to keep making each family reunion the best one yet. some of the ideas we have used to raise money include:
dances
raffles
craft sales
burrito sales
softball tournaments
horseshoe tournament
concessions from tournaments and dances
i am curious to hear of some other fundraising ideas people have used and how they worked out
